CELEBRATING 250 YEARS OF FREEDOM
On this glorious day at the 16th Annual Garbageman’s Invitational Golf Tournament and Social Event, we proudly celebrate America’s 250th year of freedom—the Semiquincentennial of the boldest experiment in liberty the world has ever seen! Two hundred and fifty years ago, a ragtag band of patriots said “no more” to tyranny and lit a torch that still burns bright from sea to shining sea. Today, as proud American garbagemen, veterans of the early-morning front lines, defenders of clean streets and full bellies, we tee it up under the same red, white, and blue that our forefathers fought for. Every drive down the fairway is a salute to independence, every putt a reminder that freedom isn’t free—but man, is it worth it! So let’s grip it and rip it, brothers and sisters, for the land of the free, the home of the brave, and the greatest trash-hauling, flag-waving, golf-swinging nation on God’s green earth—here’s to 250 years of American greatness, and to 250 more! USA! USA! USA!
